I will react by simply accepting and adapting to the change since it is inevitable.

Ex.

People are bound to leave in your life, thats inevitable, some might leave you or go away and a clear example of this is death. Death is inevitable, losing someone especially you care about is very painful. When there comes a time where will lose someone, of course I will morn or be in a state of grief to the point of depression but I wont let my self dwell on it for too long. Accept, adjust and move on but never forget.
