Malversation of public funds is an act of corruption done by any individual holding a position in the government. it is also an act of negligence and improper handling of money. Moreover, consenting any other person to use the restricted funds may be guilty of malversation.

Public funds is a money came from taxes, it is considered as revenue or income of the government, state or municipal. Public funds is being used for government expenditures incurred due to a projects and programs implementation.
